In my role as the Lead UX Designer at Honeywell, I had the exciting opportunity to spearhead the design of a flight planning iPad application, commonly referred to as an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB),  for business aviation pilots, such as Gulfstream and Dassault.

The Honeywell My GDC (Global Data Centre) iPad application revolutionizes the flight planning process for pilots. With this innovative tool, pilots can effortlessly create and file flight plans directly to air traffic control (ATC). The application also offers real-time updates on weather conditions and airspace information. MyGDC streamlines pre-flight activities and ensures pilots have anytime, anywhere access to crucial flight information through Trip kits.

These Trip kits are comprehensive, encompassing route of flight details, digital SID/STAR and approach plates, graphical weather charts, as well as detailed airport information and Airport/Facility Directory pages. This project aimed to enhance the overall user experience for pilots, providing them with a powerful and user-friendly tool to optimize their flight planning and execution.
